why when bryan says " I want you to come over tonight" it is comforting and caring and makes me want to be with him instead of hiding alone from the world?

why when he says it is it not clingy, or demanding or any of that- it just makes me want to grow closer in all the heinlienian senses of the word?

argh painfully tight circles of uselessness ...
